Credits are a digital product, so purchases are final. There are three exceptions, and they are set out plainly below.
TheSyn AI sells digital credits that are used to generate content. Because credits give you immediate access to a digital service, all credit purchases are final and non-refundable — except in the cases described below, or where a refund is required by applicable law.
Credits are deducted only after a generation succeeds. If a document fails, is blocked, or never arrives, no credits are consumed. This is the reason the refund policy can be as strict as it is — the failure case is already handled before it becomes a billing problem.
We may, at our discretion, issue a refund or a credit adjustment in these cases:
On the second point: every draft TheSyn produces requires your own review and verification before you use it. That is stated in the Terms of Service, and it is the nature of the product. Output that you consider weak, or that needs editing, is not a fault — it is a draft, and drafts are what you bought.
To request a refund under one of the exceptions above, email support@thesynai.com within 14 days of the charge. Include:

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor. How long that takes depends on the processor and on your bank — typically a few business days, sometimes longer.
